Your health care provider will most likely tell you to dose 30 minutes to 1 hour before breakfast, on an empty stomach, alongside a glass of water. To achieve the best possible results, you should take Thyronorm consistently the same time(s) each day.
Call your health care provider if you experience any side effects whilst taking Thyronorm. Possible ones include, but are not limited to, those listed below.
Temporary thinning hair (temporary). An increased sensitivity to heat. Feeling nervous, or having mood swings. Tiredness. Diarrhea or a dodgy stomach. Shakes or tremors. Seizures. Headaches or migraines. Trouble breathing or shortness of breath. A tight or uncomfortable chest. Abnormal heartbeat. Swelling. Allergic reaction (symptoms can include skin rashes, hives, trouble breathing, or itching).
Always disclose any of the following to your doctor before you begin taking Thyronorm: If you are preganant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive. If you have any allergies. If you are taking any other medication, whether prescription or non-prescription, or any supplements or vitamins.
If you have a medical history of increased thyroid hormones (thyrotoxicosis), decreased adrenal gland function, heart conditions, coronary artery disease, irregular heartbeat, hyper-tension, or diabetes. If you are a smoker or drinker of alcohol. If you have any form of surgery scheduled.
